• Class Description

  • Pilates Mat

    The mat work consists of a series of non impact yet challenging movements which increase strength and flexibility and improve alignment, balance, coordination and tone. The class is designed to meet the needs of both the novice and the advanced exerciser but it is recommended that new participants schedule a private session before attending this class.

  • Pilates Mat Challenge

    This fast paced authentic Pilates Mat class is appropriate for experienced Pilates students. The exercises are basic and intermediate depending on the group, however you will be challenged to perform them with perfect form. The class is quick, and participants should be familiar with the Authentic Pilates order and transitions and be ready to sweat.

  Treatment upgrades - hot stone add-on: concentrating on the back and shoulder area, this stone sampler gives you the deep penetration of the hot stones and helps push the massage right over the edge. To add this to your service, please note it on the reservation. $30 adds 15 minutes to any massage.

    Mecca's signature massage: swedish massage with long smooth strokes circular motions on superficial layers of muscles using lotion or oil. This massage is relaxing and pampering using light to medium pressure.

  • Mother-to-be Massage

    We focus on the many stressors the body encounters during pregnancy – lower back discomfort, sciatica and fatigue – and how best to alleviate them. This side-lying massage is practiced by specific therapists – only those trained in pregnancy massage. A doctor's note is required per pregnancy so please consult your physician prior to making reservations.

    It may be sugarplums in december or stonewall peaches in june – our home-grown treatment depends on the month, what's in season, a fabulous complimentary cocktail, and… our mood. Treatment includes a dry-brushing, massage, full body scrub, rinsing under the vichy shower all topped off with the cocktail of the month.

  • Honey Mandarin Sugar Scrub

    A salt glow has nothing on us. We blend coarse body sugar, mandarin essential oil, honey and our organic body oils to aromatic perfection for our special body scrub. The vichy shower – five strong massaging jets of warm water – is the quickest way to get into the spa zone. Super soft skin that smells clean & fresh and looks buffed & silky is a good thing. Yes, your skin feels amazing. Yes, the scent is incredible. No, you can't stay in the room and nap under the water jets.

  Finishing touches - why be nearly perfect, when you can be totally flawless? We offer a myriad of waxing services and brow and lash tints to complete your day at the spa. For best waxing results, hair should be at least inch in length. Please be sure your hair is long enough to wax. You cannot wax if you are using retin-a (currently or in the past three months), accutane (currently or in the past six months) or other medications designed to increase skin exfoliation. if you are sunburned or recovering from a chemical or laser peel, waxing will not be an option for hair removal until you are healed. Waxing services do not include usage of the locker room facilities, showers or steam room.

• Shellac

  Shellac goes on like normal polish but is cured under an led light. It is instantly dry, lasts up 14+ days without chipping (and stays looking great) and soaks off in 15 minutes. We chose gelish because of the usage of led lights instead of those that use uv lights. Led is much better for the hands, cures much faster than those using uv lights and gelish has tons of colors.

    Includes filing and buffing, cuticle prep, gel polish, cuticle oil and lotion. We recommend adding the vitagel treatment to any gel manicure to keep nails healthy and strong. *this does not include removal of gel polish.

• Policies

  Please plan to arrive at least twenty minutes prior to your treatment time. Robe, sandals and a locker will be provided for most services upon check-in. we encourage you to conclude your services with a visit to our eucalyptus steam room, private showers and dressing area.

  • Reservations

    Appointments are necessary for all spa services but drop-ins are welcome as the schedule permits. All spa services are available at member and non-member pricing. Credit card guarantee for all non-members is required.

  • Cancellations

    Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least four hours in advance. One half of the treatment price will be charged for cancellations and/or changes made within four hours of the appointment time. No-shows are charged in full.

  • Late Arrivals

    Please note that a late arrival will determine the length of your treatment. Your service will end at the scheduled time so the next guest is not delayed and the full treatment price will be charged.

  • Fitness Services

    the gym at mecca is available to all spa guests for an additional ten dollars – one half the regular guest fee.

  • Gratuity

    Tipping for exceptional service is always appreciated and can be handled at the front desk upon checkout. Most tips range 15 – 20% of the treatment price.

  • Special Conditions

    Please let us know in advance of any special conditions we need to be aware of such as pregnancy, heart conditions, etc. This will allow us to recommend treatments that accommodate your needs.

  • Age Requirements

    The spa is designed for adult guests. Children under sixteen are not permitted.

  • Cell Phones

    The spa is a technology free zone. Cellular phones, pdas, etc. Are not permitted in the spa. All guests are to leave such items in the day lockers that we provide.
